Swansea sits north west of us, past Fall River. The drive is usually twenty to twenty five minutes, east on Route 6 the whole way or down Route 103 if you are closer to Ocean Grove.
If you are near the waterfront end of town, you are already living with the same salt air we are. It affects colour more than most people expect, and it is one of the things we plan around.
Getting here from Swansea
Route 6 through Fall River is the reliable version of this trip. The shore road is prettier and slower. Either way there is parking at the salon when you get here.
Planning the trip
Two real routes and they suit different days. Route 6 through Fall River is quicker and duller. Route 103 along the shore takes longer but avoids city traffic entirely, which makes it the better choice on a summer Saturday. If you are near Ocean Grove the shore road is barely a detour at all.
Colour that survives the salt air
If you are near the water, your colour is fighting humidity and salt most of the year. That is a formula decision and a washing decision, and we would rather tell you before than explain it after. Balayage and lived-in colour hold up best because the grow-out is soft to begin with.
